Custom-made lamps

Lamp design

From the first sketch to the finished object

One-off production is our premium segment — we design and craft unique lamps in single copies, tailored precisely to a specific interior, architectural project or personal vision. We carry out the entire process — from concept, through 3D design and prototyping, to production — in our own manufactory.

Custom-designed Origins of Light lamp

Starting point

We can start from anywhere

You do not need a finished design to order a lamp from us. An idea is enough. Everything else — the design, visualization, prototype and production — is on our side.

Finished 3D / CAD design

You send us the file (Rhino, SolidWorks, STEP, IGES) and we move straight to prototyping.

Hand-drawn sketch

A drawing on paper is enough. Our designers will turn it into a 3D model and refine the dimensions.

Just an idea or inspiration

You have a vision but no idea how to draw it? We will guide you through the whole process from the very first conversation.

The Origins of Light manufactory

The entire process for a single piece

Design, metalworking, lacquering in the full RAL palette, electrical assembly, safety testing — all under one roof. This lets us maintain quality and stay in control of every detail, even for a one-off production run.

  • 3D design + photorealistic visualization
  • In-house prototyping
  • Lacquering in any RAL color
  • Full technical documentation

Process

Four stages of production

  1. 01

    Consultation

We talk about the idea, function, installation site, budget and preferred materials.

  2. 02

    3D design and visualization

We create a 3D model and a photorealistic visualization in the target interior — for your approval.

  3. 03

    Prototype in the workshop

We build a physical prototype or a mock-up of selected elements to confirm the proportions and the light.

  4. 04

    One-off production

Full production in our manufactory — metalworking, RAL lacquering, assembly, testing.

FAQ

Custom-made lamps — frequently asked questions

Do I need a finished 3D design to order a lamp?+

No. We can start from any point — a finished CAD/3D design (Rhino, SolidWorks, STEP, IGES), a hand-drawn sketch, or even a loose inspiration or reference photo. If you do not have a design, our designers will create one for you.

What does the custom lamp production process look like?+

Four stages: (1) consultation and arrangements — interior, function, budget, materials, (2) 3D design and photorealistic visualization, (3) a prototype in the workshop, (4) one-off production with RAL lacquering, assembly and electrical testing.

How long does it take to make a custom-designed lamp?+

Typically 6–12 weeks from signing the agreement — depending on the complexity of the design, the materials and the prototyping stage. We always confirm the deadline after the first consultation.

Do you work with interior architects and design studios?+

Yes — we regularly deliver projects for interior architects and designers as well as for boutique hotels and restaurants. We provide full design support, technical documentation and consistency with the interior design documentation.

What materials do you make custom lamps from?+

We work with brass, steel, copper, aluminum, wood and glass. We lacquer in the full RAL palette, and we do our own patination, electroplating and jewellery-grade finishing.

Do you make lamps in single copies?+

Yes — that is our premium specialty. We carry out the entire process — from consultation to final assembly — for a single piece in our Polish manufactory.
